State Law Compliance Disclosures To ensure transparency and compliance with US State laws - specifically California Assembly Bill 1200 (AB 1200), Colorado House Bill 22-1345, and Minnesota Amara’s Law - Highland Rim Engraving, LLC (dba The Sheet Pan Shop) provides the following disclosures regarding the material composition and sale of our cookware products.
1. Shipping Restrictions (Prohibited States)
Due to state regulations prohibiting the sale of cookware containing intentionally added PFAS (including PTFE/Teflon non-stick coatings), we cannot ship PTFE-coated sheet pans to the following states:
- Minnesota (Effective Jan 1, 2025)
Policy: Any orders placed for PTFE-coated items with a shipping address in this state will be cancelled and fully refunded in compliance with state law.
(Note: Our uncoated "Natural Aluminum" pans are exempt and may be shipped to Minnesota.)
2. California & Colorado Chemical Disclosure
The following table identifies the "intentionally added chemicals" present in the cookware sold on this site, as required by the California Health & Safety Code (Section 109010 et seq.) and Colorado HB 22-1345.

3. Customization & Safety Disclaimer
Modification of Non-Stick Surface The products sold by Highland Rim Engraving, LLC (dba The Sheet Pan Shop) have been modified from their original manufactured state. The laser engraving process permanently removes the non-stick (PTFE) coating in the specific area of the design.
- Performance: The engraved design area exposes the raw underlying metal (aluminum/steel). This specific area is no longer non-stick.
- Care: To prevent oxidation or sticking in the engraved area, we recommend lightly oiling the design after washing. We also recommend using parchment paper, silicone baking mats, or pan liners during use to ensure easy food release.
Warranty Disclosure Because these products have been permanently altered via laser engraving:
- Manufacturer Warranty: The original manufacturer's warranty is VOID.
- Our Guarantee: Highland Rim Engraving, LLC (dba The Sheet Pan Shop) warrants the quality of the engraving workmanship only. We cannot facilitate returns or warranty claims with the original manufacturer for defects related to the pan's construction once it has been engraved.
4. California Proposition 65 Warning
The following warning is provided to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Nickel, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer, and Chromium, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
